)-- J.P. Turner & Company, LLC recently appointed Brian Propes to lead the Supervision Department. Brian will serve as Senior Vice President, Supervisory and Best Practices Officer. He comes to the firm with more than 25 years of experience in the financial services industry, including senior leadership and practice management roles.
Recently, Brian was President & C.O.O. of NFP Securities where he worked from 2000 through 2007. There he was a key contributor to growing the sales force from 350 producers to more than 1,200 and revenue from $33 million to $340 million. Since that time, Brian has owned a consulting practice specializing in high level projects for Broker-Dealers, Registered Investment Advisors and Independent Financial Services Professionals, in addition to serving as V.P. of Practice Management for Cambridge Investment Research, Inc.
