Bohme Boutique Rises to Fashion Success

The story of Bohme Boutique involves many twists and turns for two sisters from Brazil. The odds of this successful clothing boutique even existing were pretty slim.

Salt Lake City, UT, March 29, 2012 --(PR.com)-- It was only through pure determination that you see Bohme Boutiques in almost every mall in Utah. After 4 years of near misses and financial turmoil, Bohme closed 2011 with 8.6M in revenue and has opened in malls in Colorado, Arizona, North Dakota and Idaho—with the Midwest on the radar.

It was the day after Thanksgiving in 2009 when Bohme owner’s Vivien and Fernanda started to realize what they had. "This is when our overnight success story came true," said Vivien. "Now we had to learn to manage growth." In 2010 Bohme had to hire help with the corporate side of the business. They acquired office space and a warehouse and ended 2010 with 5 stores and $4.3M in revenue.

If you were to ask Vivien and Fernanda, "What is Bohme?" They might say, "It is a shopping experience where you can be true to your inner creativity and those whimsical moments of self-expression—let them out for the world to behold. Here at Bohme you let your sexy, artistic spirit roam wild and free."

In 2011 Bohme opened stores in the South Town Center in Salt Lake City, Flatiron Crossing in Colorado, Boise Towne Square in Idaho, Empire Mall in South Dakota, Las Vegas Town Square in Nevada, Grand Teton Mall in Idaho and the Tucson Mall in Arizona. The last five stores opened in the 4th quarter of 2011 in one month’s time. Bohme finished 2011 with 12 stores and $8.6M in revenue.

Bohme Boutique’s projected revenue for the end of 2012 is 17M.
