Poet Chuck Joy Presents Silver Creek at the Erie Art Museum

Reading of Two Sets of Poems

Erie, PA, May 31, 2007 --(PR.com)-- The Erie Art Museum will host poet Chuck Joy on Thursday, May 31 as he presents two sets of poems entitled Silver at 7 p.m. at the Erie Art Museum Annex, 423 State Street.

Silver Creek is a set of two poems that explore an imaginary place that sets the scene for characters, places, and people to find their dreams of meaning and love. The two narrative poems are funny and are presented in the spirit of Billy Collins, the Grateful Dead, and others.

Chuck Joy is the host of Poetry Scene at the Erie Book Store, author of stage play Helping Ricky, and Dreamville, a series of poems presented by a host of poets at the Erie Art Museum in 2006.

Silver Creek: Poems by Chuck Joy is open to the general public and admission is $5 at the door.
