Legal Funding Now Available at Hattons Solicitors

St Helens, United Kingdom, April 13, 2012 --(PR.com)-- Hattons Solicitors are pleased to announce that as of 2nd April 2012 they will be able to offer limited legal funding on certain types of family law case.

This legal funding status comes as a welcome addition to Hattons Solicitors private client case work. The legal aid funding applies to cases of an urgent nature such as an emergency interim residence application, prohibited steps and specific issue orders and injunctions.

If you want to find out if you qualify for this emergency funding Hattons Solicitors will be able to advise you on the testing required, which is required by the Legal Services Commission.

Hattons are also able to offer non-means tested public funding for Care Cases where the Social Services are involved and Court Proceedings have already started. If you have been served with court papers for a hearing and you wish to obtain legal representation to discuss the matter, simply contact Hattons to find out the details of the help available. Hattons can also help if you need legal representation where the Local Authority have sent a letter stating that they are about to issue Care Proceedings concerning children.

The same applies if you are intending issuing an emergency application regarding one of the above applications then you will need to discuss your case with a solicitor. You will be asked to bring proof of your income together with bank statements and identification documents.

What they cannot deal with are non-urgent contact applications for legal funding where the case would have to be referred to Mediation and Divorce.
