Confluent Translations Awarded GSA Contract GS-10F-0098Y

Translation service provider is awarded GSA Contract and becomes part of an elite group of approved language services providers for government translation and interpretation projects.

Pittsburgh, PA, April 18, 2012 --(PR.com)-- Confluent Translations, LLC (www.confluenttranslations.com) announced it has been awarded GSA Contract GS-10F-0098Y from the United States General Services Administration. Effective until December 2016, the contract has three 5-year renewal options taking it to 2036.

The GSA Schedule is the Federal Government’s, as well as some state and local government agencies, procurement system that allows them to purchase goods and services from pre-qualified commercial sector vendors using pre-negotiated long-term contracts. In order to obtain a GSA contract there is a complex and comprehensive evaluation process where a company must demonstrate a proven track record of outstanding past performance and fair pricing.

“The process to be awarded a contract is long and tedious with very specific requirements including proof of quality and customer satisfaction, sound and structured price schedules, ease of payment, understanding the government contracting processes, and being able to meet the needs of the translation and interpreting buyers,” stated Charlene Nagy, President and CEO of Confluent.

Vladimir Petrov handled the complete process and will be the GSA contact. “Vlad is very thorough with great attention to detail. He also understands the workings of government procurement and preparing and responding to RFPs. He worked very hard to secure this contract, and his dedication has resulted in other governmental awarded contracts,” stated Nagy.

Confluent, started in 1992, is an ISO 9001:2008 certified woman owned business. Confluent is one of only a selected number language service providers listed on the GSA Advantage website.
