Cramer Toyota of Venice Recently Participated as a Vehicle Sponsor at the Recently Held USTA $50,000 Women's Pro Circuit Event

Sarasota, FL, April 19, 2012 --(PR.com)-- Cramer Toyota of Venice recently participated as a vehicle sponsor at the recently held USTA $50,000 Women's Pro Circuit Event at The Oaks Club in Osprey Florida. On display were both Scion and Toyota vehicles. With 94 tournaments throughout the country and prize money ranging from $10,000 to $100,000 the USTA Pro Circuit is the pathway to the US Open and tour-level competition for aspiring tennis players and a frequent battleground for established professionals. Last year, more than 1,000 men and women from more than 70 countries competed on the USTA Pro Circuit for approximately $3.2 million in prize money and valuable ATP and WTA Tour ranking points. Maria Sharapova, Andy Murray, Jelena Jankovic, David Nalbandian and Jo-Wilfried Tsonga are among today’s top stars that began their careers on the USTA Pro Circuit. According to Richard Bond, General Manager of Cramer Toyota of Venice, "This is the third year we have been involved as a sponsor at this event. It gives the local community an opportunity to get up close to our vehicles without having to visit the dealership. Demographically many of the spectators that come to the event are Toyota buyers. Exposing them to our product always sells a few vehicles." The USTA Pro Circuit is world class tennis administered on the local level and played on local tennis courts as part of the fabric of communities nationwide -- an opportunity for current and new fans to experience the excitement and intensity of the professional game in their neighborhood. The tournament is a weeklong event that features women's professional players from around the world. Many of the players have grand slam experience. Past winners Jamie Hampton, Marijana Lucic, and Beatrice Capra all competed in 2011’s U.S. open. The event drew over 5,000 attendees and was covered daily by local newspapers and television including the Sarasota Herald Tribune, The Venice Gondolier Sun, WWSB ABC 7 Sarasota, and SNN Local 6. Richard Bond continues, "Each year this event gets bigger, drawing more players with bigger names. We enjoy being part of an event that brings the world to us and exposes out local community to them and them to us. Congratulations to this year's winner Arantxa Rus."
