16th Annual Leesburg Bikefest Sponsored In-Part by Plaza Cadillac

The 1st Annual Leesburg Bikefest took place in 1997 as a one-day event that featured four vendors, local bands and an estimated attendance of only 5,000 motorcyclists. This year the free event is expected to host more than 300,000 attendees, 40 bands, and over 250 vendors. The Leesburg Bikefest encompasses over 20 blocks of downtown Leesburg and is now the largest three-day biker event in the country.

For those who do not ride a motorcycle, but still want to take part in the festivities, there are shuttles available to and from the events for only $1 or an all-day pass for just $3.

Leesburg Bikefest is a fun event for a good cause, and is the largest fund raising event for the Leesburg Partnership. The Leesburg Partnership is described by their mission statement as “an association of residents, government, business people and resources that are focused on the goal of aiding in the physical, economic, and social revitalization of the Leesburg Community.” Through sponsors like Plaza Cadillac, the Leesburg Bikefest is able put on an event that funds the majority of other events put on in downtown Leesburg throughout the year, and is also a main fundraiser for many local charities.
