)-- On Saturday, April 21st, 2012 J.M. Field Marketing will support the first ever Fitness Walk & Family Festival. The event will take place at Esplanade Park in Fort Lauderdale and will benefit ChildNet as well as the Heart Gallery of Broward County.
The Fitness walk will be comprised of a 2 mile walk with a variety of boot camp style stations situated along the New River walking route. The exercise stations will be hosted by Orange Theory Fitness and include activities appropriate for all ages. Registration for the event begins at 8 a.m. followed by an opening ceremony at 9 a.m. and closing ceremony at 12 p.m.
Following the walk, participants are encouraged to take part in the Family Festival which will offer an array of family friendly activities including bounce houses, face painting and raffles as well as food sampling from local vendors.
Alexis Kovic, Art Director at the South Florida based marketing firm, said “J.M. Field Marketing is eager to take part in this event which will benefit two wonderful causes. The Heart Gallery is a foundation we hold dearly to our hearts and we also look forward to helping out ChildNet, another great cause.”
ChildNet is a non-profit organization which helps maintain the child welfare system in Broward County. The organization’s main goal is to protect the neglected, abused and abandoned children in South Florida by offering case management, adoption and independent living services.
The Heart Gallery strives to increase the awareness of the foster care system. They focus particularly on the children that remain in foster care and want to find a permanent loving family. All proceeds from the event will benefit each of these agencies.
