)-- The Medical Development Group announces its Wednesday, May 2, 2012 Forum entitled “Communicating with Medical Devices using M2M and mHealth Wireless Technologies.” This session addresses the clinical value proposition of wireless medical device technologies. mHealth (Mobile Health) is the practice of medicine and public health supported by mobile devices. M2M (Machine to Machine) communications uses a device to capture an event which is translated into meaningful information. M2M and mHealth will revolutionize health care delivery over the next few years, including preventative medicine, patient monitoring, diagnosis and treatment issues.
