Amaze Digital wins Best Digital Brand Development category at Big Chip Awards

London, United Kingdom, June 02, 2007 --(PR.com)-- Digital Media Solutions agency, Amaze Digital has won the Best Digital Brand Development category at this year’s prestigious Big Chip Awards that recognise innovation in the digital industry in the North West. Amaze Digital was awarded the accolade for its work with Toyota at the car manufacturer’s innovative and futuristic showroom on the Champs Elysee in Paris. Known as the Le Rendez-Vous Toyota, the project beat off stiff competition, from other finalists including Hovis120.com, Yamaha Racing and Liberty.

Amaze Digital has developed and built interactive touch-screen units at the Champs-Elysee showroom to showcase Toyota’s new vehicles and concept cars as well as the car manufacturer’s involvement in Formula 1. By encouraging visitors to interact with the digital displays, customers can explore the Toyota brand in a creative and brand-enhancing manner. The initial project has been such a success that Toyota has just signed a new agreement with Amaze Digital to further develop the visitor experience.

The judges were impressed with how Amaze Digital had visually presented the information and agreed that they successfully created a premier exhibition space for Toyota.

The Big Chip Awards are the digital industry awards for the North West. They are presented to companies in the region which excel in the use of IT and digital technology and have designed or commissioned digital projects in the past year.

Entrants to the Best Digital Brand Development category were required to demonstrate a significant use of online or digital technology to develop or build a brand, and demonstrate the effectiveness of the campaign in strengthening the brand and its values.
