Women’s Business Development Center Programs in May for Women Business Owners

Programs support and accelerate Women’s Business Ownership and strengthen the impact of women on the economy

Chicago, IL, April 22, 2012 --( Among workshops/events offered in May by the Women’s Business Development Center (WBDC), a nationally and internationally recognized women’s business assistance center providing services and programs that support and accelerate women’s business ownership and strengthen the impact of women on the economy, are:

Thursday, May 10, 5:30-7:30 p.m., “Connection Points: Networking with Event-Related Professionals & Those Seeking Event-Related Services”

Description: This Connection Points event will include plenty of networking time and a short panel presentation where resources in each discipline share insights on trends in the industries and answer questions from participants.

Cost: $20.00 in advance, $30.00 at the door


Tuesday, May 15, 1:00-2:30 p.m., “Take the Mystery out of Finance”

Description: Take the Mystery out of Finance will provide real world examples and ask questions you may have avoided asking previously. Learn the Five C’s: cash flow, collateral, capital, character and conditions, as well as detailed information about financing through equity, debt, receivables, purchase order and leasing.
