Brad Nelson Takes the Helm as Director of Marketing at JTM Food Group

Company announces promotion during $17 million plant expansion and 2011 sales growth of 6%

Harrison, OH, April 26, 2012 --( JTM Food Group announces the promotion of Brad Nelson to marketing director effective immediately. Nelson transitions into the role with more than 13 years of experience with JTM. Amidst the recent announcement of a $17 million expansion at JTM’s Harrison, Ohio plant, Nelson will help bolster the growing landscape of the company.

A true example of placing an importance on career development within a company, Nelson started with JTM Food Group as an intern while studying advertising at Ball State University. Since his early start, the new marketing director has worked at many levels within JTM – including marketing, graphic design and sales support – affording Nelson an intimate knowledge of the inner workings of the company.

“With Brad at the helm as marketing director for JTM Food Group, we can continue to keep our focus on increasing sales and growing the business,” said Jack Maas, Vice President Sales, Marketing and R&D “In fact, sales are expected to increase another eight percent in 2012, from six percent last year, and Brad will be a key driver behind that growth. Few know our business better than him, so that knowledge combined with his business savvy, I couldn’t think of a better person for the job.”

Nelson’s focus will be on helping to successfully launch an increasing number of new products to existing markets as well as helping to penetrate new markets throughout this year and well into 2013. The recently announced plant expansion, where it is currently able to process 250,000 pounds of meat per day, will allow JTM to fulfill the expected influx of orders.
