Montag Manufacturing to be Featured on Upcoming Episode of American Farmer

Faith, Family and Fertilizer for the American Farmer.

Emmetsburg, IA, April 27, 2012 --(PR.com)-- Montag Manufacturing announced today their participation in an upcoming episode of American Farmer for Discovery Channel and Rural TV.

A family owned business, Montag Manufacturing has delivered a truly innovative piece to the agriculture community. Their advancements in dry fertilizer application are changing the farming community, while saving farmers time and resources in the process.

This particular episode of American Farmer will be focusing on the importance of family in farming. Montag was founded on faith and family, and those themes run strong in the company today. Viewers will be taken behind the scenes, to the Montag family facility, where one of the most advanced dry fertilizer systems is in production.

“It is amazing to see God’s blessings as we have progressed from a simple farm shop of two employees to a manufacturing plant that ships product all over North America and potentially worldwide,” said Rebecca Montag. “We look forward to sharing through the American Farmer a glimpse of Montag’s values in the products we sell and industry we serve.”

“Montag Manufacturing should be an inspiration to the farming community,” said Shirley White, producer for the series. “I am proud to present a company built on strong family values to the American Farmer viewership.”

About Montag Manufacturing:

Montag Manufacturing grew out of the original patented idea for the unique air chambers of its founder and president, Roger Montag, in 1986. The need for a better cart to carry the dry fertilizer units soon led to the development of the auto steerable carts. As interest in the cart and the meter made with the unique air chambers increased, it became clear that the time had come to set up a family business and start selling the cart and meter. So, in 2005 we incorporated the family business as Montag Manufacturing, Inc. and started selling our products to the farming industry. In 2008 Montag moved from the family farm outside of West Bend to Emmetsburg and rented a building that in spring of 2012 we purchased. Montag continues to pursue marketable advantages and technology into the Ag industry.
