Washington, DC, May 11, 2012 --(PR.com
)-- Continuing its legacy to educate and assist innovators, entrepreneurs, investors and companies, NCET2 has ventured into the Crowdfunding sphere through the creation of YouCrowdfund.org.
YouCrowdfund.org was created from the need to provide relevant information and education to investors and companies. The Jumpstart Our Business Startups (JOBS) Act of 2012 creates legal obligations which require in-depth knowledge to successfully comply with the new law. The JOBS Act specifies that investors and companies possess an understanding of the standards established by the Securities and Exchange Commission and the risks involved in crowdfund investing.
NCET2 believes that an educated crowdfund community is going to be key to the success of the crowdfund industry. This is why crowdfunders, investors, issuers and intermediaries will find documents, webinars and courses on the YouCrowdfund.org site. These resources will provide information, education and intelligence to create a fully-informed crowdfund community.
YouCrowdfund.org features a daily blog, a weekly newsletter and free webinars and courses, testing and certificates that allow the crowdfund community to learn about and fully understand this exciting new funding ecosystem. Certificates will be awarded in some important courses allowing participants to positively demonstrate knowledge and understanding to regulators, funding portals and anyone else who may need to know of your crowdfunding capabilities.
YouCrowdfund.org also has a Crowdfunding Community Map that graphically illustrates the crowdfund community around the world and allows crowdfund supporters to contact each other with direct email messaging.
NCET2 will continue its Crowdfunding mini-series through the YouCrowdfund.org website. Their upcoming crowdfunding webinar with the US Department of Commerce's Nishith Acharya on "Boosting Innovation and Entrepreneurship in America through Crowdfunding" will be happening on May 16, 2012, 1:00-2:30pm ET.
