)-- Shore Thing Marketing showed it's support for Operation Smile at a benefit held to raise awareness for the cause. The benefit was held on May 3rd at Cipriani's in New York, NY, and Shore Thing President, Rich Dinella, was there to support the international childrens medical charity responsible for improving the lives of thousands of children born with cleft lips and palates.
Along-side Dinella were about 500 others including, Donald Trump and his family, as well as John Sally who was a guest speaker at the event.
In talking about the event, Dinella said that it was great to give back to such a great cause "Operation Smile provides children born with cleft lips and palates opportunity to live normal lives, and hope for a much brighter future. Anything that we can do to give back and reach out aour top priority."
Operation Smile has been around since 1982 and with the help of benefits, like the one held at Cipriani's, has been able to help over 2 million patients and with the money donated over the years, have been able to give over 200,000 free surgeries to children all over the world. Operation Smile has a presence in over 60 countries and with the help of medical volunteers, is looking to expand to even more locations.
