)-- After more than 30 years in franchising, Jim Amos, CEO of Nashville, Tenn.-based Tasti D-Lite has been convinced to share his wisdom via a blog of his own.
“While I do love to communicate with people, and I participate in many speaking engagements, this was just not something I considered. My full time responsibilities as CEO of Tasti D-Lite and as an operating partner of Snow Phipps Group have not left me with a lot of spare time. But others really encouraged me to utilize this 21st century form of communication,” shares Amos.
So many people were looking to Amos for advice via phone calls, e-mails and more that his staff finally convinced him that a Jim Amos blog would do much to improve the demand on his time.
www.jimamosblog.com is now up and running and filled with Jim’s experiences from his days in the military to today as the most recent recipient of the International Franchise Association’s Hall of Fame award.
“I hope some of the thoughts and experiences that I share will help others as they make key decisions in their lives,” concludes Amos.
One of the very first announcements on the new blog is that of the publishing of The Tasti D-Lite Way: Social Media Marketing Lessons for Building Loyalty and a Brand Customers Crave.
The book, published by McGraw-Hill, is scheduled for fall of 2012 release and will share the tale of the digital journey of the Tasti D-Lite brand. It is written by Jim along with Tasti’s social media guru BJ Emerson.
