Tea Monkey Celebrates Its First Year and Launches Its First Tea Pod

Its been a year since Tea Monkey launched its first store in Midsummer Place, Milton Keynes, offering a unique customer experience focussed on Tea in a cutting edge environment.

Milton Keynes, United Kingdom, May 17, 2012 --(PR.com)-- Its not just the clean, modern surroundings that catch your eye but also the bank of iPads for customers and children to use in-store.

Sitting alongside Starbucks and Costa, Tea Monkey has captured the heart of the tea lover and certainly brings a breath of fresh air to the High Street and other coffee shop chains.

Founder, Tracey Bovingdon was keen to attract the coffee drinkers too and in 2011 Tea Monkey won awards for its coffee and hot chocolate; selling as many lattes as English Breakfast tea!

Early this year also saw the launch of their new Cheeky Monkey kids range.

To expand the brand, a further Boutique Tea Café was opened in Little Southgate, Bath in November 2011 and May 2012 will see the launch of their funky new portable tea pod.

The Tea Pod will offer the same quality teas, coffees, hot chocolates and iced drinks, along with a grab and go range of cakes and pastries – including gluten free items.

Tracey was excited about some of the new developments happening with Tea Monkey this year so watch this space for further news and in the meantime, swing by and check out Tea Monkey as soon as you can.
