London, United Kingdom, May 18, 2012 --(PR.com)-- The upcoming Small Cells World Summit in London in June, organised by Avren Events in exclusive partnership with the Small Cells Forum, has many new features, including the largest exhibition in the industry and will gather a record number of industry pioneers and experts.

“The growth of our event reflects the growth of the industry,” says Alejandro Pinero, Small Cells World Summit director, “small cells are becoming an integral part of cellular networks across the globe, and we are gathering more than 500 industry experts in London from 26 June, to discuss progress in small cell network deployments and mobile technology convergence.”

Alejandro continues: “2012 is a very exciting time for the industry and for us as Avren Events, the organisers of this event. Our exclusive partners have rebranded to become the Small Cell Forum, taking a much larger remit and further driving the point that small cells are a solution not only for residential and enterprise customers, but also key for outdoor deployments.”

Small cells as the new focus
He says the Small Cells World Summit 2012, formerly Femtocells World Summit, has also taken a step forward, and added new and exciting features to the conference. He explains: “firstly, we are introducing the largest exhibition space in the small cell industry, bringing together more than 40 exhibitors to showcase their products and solutions to the market. Secondly, we will be featuring a seminar theatre programme, which will run concurrently with the main conference programme. In this session, leading vendors and associations linked to the industry will be able to communicate and present to delegates in a smaller setting, presenting content-rich technical content.”

Alejandro Pinero says there are many other exciting new features such as online networking tools and networking sessions, “but perhaps most importantly we are very excited to move forward with the industry and welcome small cells as the new focus for the conference programme.”
