Riverchase Dermatology Freezes the Fat with CoolSculpting®

Riverchase Dermatology and Cosmetic Surgery is the first Lee County medical practice to offer CoolSculpting®, a non-invasive, clinically proven procedure that reduces fat layers in problem areas through the use of a patented cooling technology.

Fort Myers, FL, May 18, 2012 --(PR.com)-- Only Lee County practice offering this safe, non-invasive alternative to liposuction

Riverchase Dermatology and Cosmetic Surgery is the first Lee County medical practice to offer CoolSculpting®, a non-invasive, clinically proven procedure that reduces fat layers in problem areas through the use of a patented cooling technology. CoolSculpting differs from other cosmetic fat removal procedures in that it involves no needles, no surgery, and virtually no down-time. Patients can undergo a procedure during lunch, and return to work immediately.

During the procedure, the CoolSculpting® machine gently “vacuums” loose fat cells and cools the fat between two plates. These cooled cells induce the formation of micro-crystals that trigger an immunologic response that results in fat removal. Patients can expect to see a reduction of 20-25% of the fat in a treated area.

Dr. Daniel Wasserman is one of the Riverchase physicians performing the CoolSculpting procedure (in the practice’s Downtown Naples office. “CoolSculpting® is actually a very exciting procedure. We are freezing fat and it goes away. That’s just a fact. It works. There are very few procedures that work as consistently and as well.”

The CoolSculpting procedure is performed in a medical office, under a doctor’s supervision. Each session takes one to two hours, and patients will begin to see a reduction in fat in the treated areas as quickly as three weeks after treatment, with the more dramatic results appearing over a period of two to four months.

CoolSculpting® consultations are being scheduled at the Riverchase Dermatology offices in Cape Coral and Fort Myers, with procedures being performed at the Fort Myers office. Drs. Andrew Jaffe and W.G. Esbaugh will perform CoolSculpting® procedures in Lee County.
