Saturday, June 2, 8:00 a.m. – 3:30 p.m., “Fourteenth Annual Child Care Business Expo: Shining a Light on the Business Side of Child Care”

Description: Themed “Shining a Light on the Business Side of Child Care,” and presented in Spanish and English, the Child Care Business Expo provides child care entrepreneurs access to creative solutions to today’s business issues and to a much-needed network of resources and support. Attendees learn from peers and top leaders in the business side of child care. The Expo is the only event of its kind—a unique one-stop clearinghouse for child care business solutions, resources, products, information and services.

Thursday, June 14, 5:30 – 7:00 p.m., “Connection Points: Networking with Construction Businesses, Architects, Interior Designers and Realtors”
Description: This Women’s Business Development Center exclusive networking event is for established women business owners in the following industries: architecture, landscape architecture, construction and interior design. This Connection Points event also includes a short panel discussion on how women-owned businesses in these professions are incorporating social media into their marketing strategies, what’s effective and efficient, and how are they measuring.

Tuesday, June 19, 1:00 – 2:30 p.m., “Take the Mystery out of Finance”

Description: This Women’s Business Development Center workshop will provide real world examples and ask questions you may have avoided asking previously. Learn the Five C’s: cash flow, collateral, capital, character and conditions, as well as detailed information about financing through equity, debt, receivables, purchase order and leasing.
