Luau Benefiting the Stanislaus Health Foundation

Dr. Lars and Mrs. Sabrina Enevoldsen will be hosting a Luau, June 23, at their beautiful private Modesto home to benefit the Stanislaus Health Foundation.

Modesto, CA, May 26, 2012 --(PR.com)-- Dr. Lars and Mrs. Sabrina Enevoldsen will be hosting a Luau at their beautiful private Modesto home to fund the annual Stanislaus Health Foundation scholarships for California State University Stanislaus nursing students, Modesto Junior College nursing students, Stanislaus County Health Services Agency medical students, high school graduates entering the medical field, along with funding for HSA clinic equipment needs, prevention programs, along with the needs of the Valley Family Residency Program, the family physician training program located in Modesto.

The Foundation provides funding to promote public health awareness for all of Stanislaus County residents and as well as help to the Stanislaus County Health Services Agency clinics that provide for the medically underserved of Stanislaus County.

Stanislaus County is ranked in the top three of California counties for Coronary Heart Disease and Infant Mortality. In addition to supporting prevention programs to promote healthy behaviors to reduce heart disease and infant mortality through partnerships, we are able to identify and work on health improvement including polices to improve our environment, to focus attention on the lack of access to medical care and even find solutions to meeting basic needs such as affordable housing, food, and affordable, safe child care so parents can work.

Tickets to Luau are $40 each, a table is $300 for 8 people, drinks, food, entertainment included.
