)-- Executive coach, brand strategist and bestselling author Libby Gill is slated to keynote the June conference of the Association of Independent Funeral Directors of Florida (IFDF) on June 7th. The event, which is the industry’s twentieth conference and trade show, takes place at the Omni Orlando Resort at Champions Gate, from June 6th to June 9th.
The IFDF was founded in September 1992 by a small group of independent funeral directors to advocate for the protection of the funeral profession as well as consumers in Florida. The association serves its members by promoting, enhancing and perpetuating the interests of independently owned and operated funeral homes in the state of Florida. Gill, who grew up in Jacksonville, Florida will present the opening keynote address on Thursday morning, June 7th. After association members saw her powerful keynote at the International Cemetery, Cremation and Funeral Association in Las Vegas in March 2012, she was asked to present at the IFDF event. Gill’s presentation, titled “You and Your Staff Unstuck,” offers insights and inspiration drawn from her award-winning book You Unstuck: Mastering the New Rules of Risk-taking in Work and Life.
