The Hunger Site Celebrates 13th Anniversary by Adding New Charity Partners

Seattle, WA, June 10, 2012 --(PR.com)-- The GreaterGood Network’s first “Click Here to Give” website celebrates its 13th anniversary in June. Since 1999, The Hunger Site has made possible millions of dollars in grants to feed those in need and fight the root causes of poverty.

In 2012, The Hunger Site has added several new charity partners to GreaterGood’s Gifts That Gives More (tm). This micro-donation program allows visitors to make donations, usually $15 to $50 each, to specific projects that appeal to them.

Some recent additions include Global Mamas, for job training for women in Ghana; Angels of the Amazon (AOA), for disaster relief to families impacted by the recent Peruvian floods; Eliminate Poverty Now, for helping girls receive education in Kenya; and Community Partners International, for their expanded efforts in Burma.

In the United States, The Hunger Site continues to support the nationwide network of food banks created by Feeding America, including emergency grants to food banks in Kentucky following the spring tornadoes, as well as such organizations as the Women’s Bean Project, Boston’s Food Project, and more.
