New Business Network Launch in Olivedale/Sharonlea/Northriding, Johannesburg
Start New Business is pleased to announce the launch of a new small business networking group in the Johannesburg North area. The launch on the 4th July will be followed by weekly short but well-planned, results-targeted meetings every Wednesday morning.
Johannesburg, South Africa, June 11, 2012 --(PR.com)-- Start New Business is pleased to announce the launch of a small business networking group in the Olivedale / Sharonlea / Northriding area. Spearheaded by Constance Kawelenga, founder of “Start New Business,” (http://www.startnewbusiness.co.za/?page_id=2 ), it is all about networking and sharing ideas, expertise, successes and lessons learned.
Starting a new business can be a lonely place. Getting clients takes time, and, because of this, cash flow is often an issue. To increase business reach, business networking is just what is needed.
This is an invitation to come and join a group of likeminded small business owners from the aforementioned area. For just R60 a week, this group will meet every Wednesday morning in Olivedale (venue to be confirmed), from 07.00 am to 08.00 am, and share coffee plus a whole lot more. The main focus is to start a network of “mutual salespeople” – that is, a group where each member becomes a sales person for all the other members. Plus, in order to maximise each member's advantage, the group will only accept one member per type of product or service.
Format of network meetings
The format of the weekly meetings will be:
· welcome by chairperson.
· opportunity to have coffee, mingle, exchange business cards
· 3-minute opportunity for each member to “advertise” their business.
· Discussion topic chaired by committee member or special guest.
· Presentation on special topic by invited guest (only on certain weeks). Members will be given the opportunity to suggest the topics they want discussed.
· Any other ideas are welcome
No business deserves to be an island – networking is a chance to have a great time while giving the business a fighting chance at survival.
