Atlanta Native Creates Bottled Sustainability in Iced Coffee Beverage

In 2012, Ed Lane launched Blue Donkey Iced Coffee, a coffee beverage project in Atlanta, Georgia. Ed is committed to authentic sustainability by working with a local Georgia dairy, using only natural ingredients, and eliminating 90% of his production waste.

Atlanta, GA, June 14, 2012 --(PR.com)-- Ed Lane is proud to have launched the first all natural sustainable bottled iced coffee in Georgia. He has eliminated nearly all of his waste by roasting and brewing his own coffee beans and recycling the brewed coffee grounds as a natural garden supplement. He has also implemented a cardboard recycling program and greatly reduced fossil fuel consumption by purchasing fresh milk from a local Georgia dairy where the bottles are also filled. In Atlanta, Ed is selling Blue Donkey bottles at Whole Foods Market, Sevananda Natural Food Market, and Candler Park Market.

William Rankin, who works with Ed at Blue Donkey says, "We are excited to work with Whole Foods Market because they are also committed to sustainability and to bringing great natural products to consumers."

Blue Donkey Iced Coffee is a company committed to creating extraordinary iced coffee beverages with fresh, local, and 100% natural ingredients. They are located in Atlanta, Georgia and their philosophy starts at the farm and ends in the bottle - no exceptions.
