Guardian Watch™ Participates as Panelist at 2012 National Emergency Number Association (NENA)

Long Beach, CA, June 15, 2012 --(PR.com)-- Guardian Watch™ CEO, Dr. Gordon Jones, is participating as a panelist at the 2012 National Emergency Number Association (NENA) held in Long Beach, CA from June 9-14. Guardian Watch™ joins in NENA’s efforts to educate public safety members and organizations on 9-1-1 policies, technologies, and operations.

Guardian Watch™ is dedicated to empowering citizens to work in tandem with public safety officials to prevent these types of crimes. The Guardian Watch™ application opens a direct line of communication between citizen and first responder, and encourages collaboration and organization within Neighborhood Watch programs to fight crime. Users are able to assist police and sheriff’s departments in reporting and responding to criminal activity or suspicious behavior, and receive alerts and notifications of criminal activity in their area.

“Technology is a constant evolution which improves and streamlines communications,” comments Dr. Jones. “But maintaining and improving the technologies behind the 9-1-1 system requires a coordinated effort that involves education and action from public safety officials and organizations.”

NENA, to date, is the only organization focused on education, policies, operations, and technologies of the 9-1-1 system. The conference serves as a platform for its members to learn from industry experts, participate in workshops, and discuss the latest developing in emergency communications.

Guardian Watch™’s participation reaffirms its commitment to addressing public security concerns and to promote a better, safer environment. “Guardian Watch™ aims to be a trusted resource not just for our citizens but also for public safety organizations, introducing new technologies to support and sustain the 9-1-1 emergency communications,” said Dr. Jones.
