Santa Barbara, CA, June 21, 2012 --(PR.com)-- Forester University, the educational division of Forester Media, Inc., publishers of Stormwater and Erosion Control Magazines, is pleased to announce their 4-Session, Online Permeable Pavement Master Class Series presented by industry expert and chair of the ASCE T&DI Permeable Pavement Structural Design Committee, David Hein, P.Eng.

Stormwater management is a key component of urban infrastructure design. If properly designed and constructed, porous pavements can help rainwater infiltrate soil, decrease urban heating, replenish groundwater, and reduce overall storm water runoff. Today, the construction of permeable pavement systems that can accommodate surface water runoff is gaining increased attention through the Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) program.

Porous and permeable pavements performance is directly dependent upon proper design, construction, and maintenance. Join industry expert and chair of the ASCE T&DI Permeable Pavement Structural Design Committee, David Hein, P.Eng. for an advanced 4-part online and on-demand master class series starting June 21st exploring the ins-and-outs of porous and permeable pavement design, construction, maintenance, and performance through real-world applications and case studies. Earn a total of 0.4 continuing education units (CEU) / 4 professional development hours (PDH) in the following topics:

June 21—Introduction to Permeable Pavements
July 12—Design and Construction of Permeable Pavements
August 9—Impact of Permeable Pavement Design and Construction on Performance
September 6—Permeable Pavement Live Case Studies: the Good, the Bad, and the Ugly.

Each month, enjoy a live, online presentation and interactive question and answer session presented and moderated by Hein, P.Eng. Miss a lecture? Live in a different time zone? In the field? Not a problem! All live sessions are recorded and available on-demand (including smartphones) so you may learn at your leisure.

Discounted full series registration is available for a limited time! View information: http://www.foresteruniversity.net/masterseries-permeable-pavement.html.
