Successful 5th Edition of the International Traders Conference

The fifth Forex Conference organized by FXstreet.com welcomed a total of about 60 people in Barcelona between June 20 and 22nd, 2012. According to attendees and speakers, the event was a very instructive conference and a great trading experience.

Barcelona, Spain, June 29, 2012 --(PR.com)-- FXstreet.com, the leading independent website dedicated to the Foreign Exchange (Forex) market, hosted this year again in Barcelona its conference, the International Traders Conference (ITC), now famous in the world of Forex. Speakers were international recognized Forex experts and trading coaches:

Richard Olsen (Coach &Technical Analyst at Olsen, Co-Founder of Oanda) brought his impressive insight on how the market works and what moves currencies: passive herding of positions. Olsen also taught the audience that the financial markets are a dynamic system that is in ongoing motion without a point fixed. For him, to trade markets successfully it is necessary to understand the pace of the market, its natural rate of change.

Ed Ponsi (President of FXEducator LLC, professional trader) talked about the future of the US Dollar, gold, the FED and the US economical situation. He also addressed the harm that we inadvertently cause when we pursue an inflationary monetary policy.

Ron William (Independent Market Strategist) specializes on key market timing strategies to help identify high-probability turning points. William showed how successfully using Japanese Candle Pattern strategies within this approach can provide vital information about the market's emotional condition and ultimately improve trading profitability and risk profile.

Walter Peters, PhD (Founder of FXJake, private trader) presented his trading technique which does not include technical indicators, the so-called “Naked Trading” strategy. He discussed why naked trading systems work, how traders can start trading naked and why naked traders have an advantage over traders who use indicator-based technical analysis.

David Pegler (Coach & Technical Analyst at FXBootcamp) walked the audience through the technical tools he uses to evaluate major low and high points of the market for the day, week and month. Pegler also introduced some common sense logic, such as time of day use, as well as a thorough understanding of human behavior.

Steve Ward (Owner and Director of High Performance Global) is a professional coach. During years, he coached high-level sportsmen and now coaches professional traders. His informative and interactive session on the neuroscience and psychology of trading clearly demonstrated how brain–based trading works in practice, and how the power of the mind can be harnessed to help an individual trader to improve their performance.

During three intensive days, experts shared their tips, experiences and insights in a very interactive context. The schedule was divided in different types of sessions: Key Note Speeches Live Trading and a Round table. And an important part of the event were also the social moments, including a welcome dinner on the Barcelona beach.

This year's International Traders Conference conclusions are:

Learning experience: all attendees went back home with solid information. Beginners and advanced traders all learnt something which will improve their trading.

Human experience: once again, the relative small size of the event created a very direct and interactive contact among attendees as well as between attendees and experts. The ITC has been underlined by all as an unforgettable human and motivating experience.

International audience: the ITC welcomed traders from around the world (UK, Spain, USA, Canada, Italy, Greece, Germany, North Korea, Dubai, Turkey.). This also generated a very interesting group of people from different cultures and experiences.

Live Trading: This was the most appreciated type of session, as every year. During 9 hours, experts coached small groups of traders. This close and personal contact with the speakers and professionals certainly makes of the ITC a unique event.
