Qualtrax, Inc. Welcomes New Hampshire's State Police Forensic Laboratory as Newest Customer

Christiansburg, VA, June 29, 2012 --(PR.com)-- The State Police Forensic Laboratory for New Hampshire has selected Qualtrax as the compliance management tool for its forensics lab.

“We plan to use Qualtrax for improved document control as well as assisting in workflow practices,” said Ann Beaudoin, a QA/QC criminalist with the lab.

This includes handling all policies and procedures as well as accreditation standards and training documentation.

“It’s very exciting to get a quality assurance tool that will improve the effectiveness and efficiency of our document control processes, especially as we transition to ISO17025 accreditation,” Beaudoin said.

The State Police Forensic Laboratory is nationally certified by the Association of Crime Laboratory Directors – Laboratory Accreditation Board (ASCLD/LAB) and was recertified in 2009. The laboratory will eventually undergo certification under ISO 17025 standards in 2014.

“I am anticipating a smooth transition from our current document control system to Qualtrax,” Beaudoin said. “I’m also looking forward to using the reporting function to help compile information during our audits and QA system reviews.”

The State Police Forensic Laboratory is the sole provider of traditional forensic laboratory services in New Hampshire. It offers services in the forensic disciplines of toxicology, digital evidence, drug chemistry, firearms/toolmarks, latent prints, biology and trace examinations.

“We are excited to welcome The State Police Forensic Laboratory of New Hampshire to our growing list of clients who operate forensic labs,” said Amy Ankrum, director of Qualtrax.
