Dominique LaRue Crowned MS United America

Houston, TX, July 02, 2012 --(PR.com)-- The United America Pageant System crowned Dominique LaRue MS United America on June 24, 2012. The National event took place at the Wyndham Garden Inn in Austin, Texas. The United America Pageant System says "It is where the women of the United States of America now have another choice of competition. It is where they can showcase their character, acknowledge and expand their friendships and community service. The United America Pageant is here to celebrate the freedom of choice, pride of Americans, and the strength and beauty of Women!"

Dominique has proven that she contains all the attributes the United America Pageant System is looking for and was rewarded with a national title. Dominique began her journey as a plus size model in 2009. In a short time, she has become a model coach/director, fashion show coordinator, and can be seen in magazines and on billboards. She has also been featured in music videos, commercials, and even played an extra in a blockbuster film. Dominique's determination has nationally landed her on the runway, in front of and behind the camera, and now as a Queen.

Now with her sash and crown in hand, Dominique says she plans to give back to the community. With Volunteerism as her platform, Dominique founded a non-profit organization called the Gift of Giving Foundation, Inc. The G.o.G. is committed to working with other charities and individuals to succeed in their area of volunteer services, charity event management, and fundraising.

When Dominique is not volunteering, she is spending time with her two teenage daughters. Whether it be traveling, a night at the opera, or watching a football game, Dominique knows that spending time with her children is a blessing.
Dominique says, "In order to succeed you must always be willing to learn, stay true to yourself, and keep God first; for with Him all things are possible."
