Red Bank, NJ, July 07, 2012 --(PR.com)-- HABcore, Inc., a not-for-profit organization that provides housing for the homeless, held its 7th annual Jazz by the River fundraiser at the riverfront home of Laurie and Ed McNamee in Rumson, NJ. The Art Topilow Jazz Quartet provided the entertainment.

Well over 100 guests were in attendance this year, consisting of board members, HABcore supporters, and newcomers being introduced to the organization. With the addition of a silent and live auction and 50/50 raffle, HABcore was able to increase the net revenue by 40% over what was raised last year. All of the event proceeds are put towards HABcore’s efforts to help the homeless.

“What’s great about this event is that HABcore’s trustees and committee members donate all the food and wine, so almost 100 percent of the ticket proceeds go towards our mission – housing the homeless,” remarked Marilyn Pearlman, Board President.

Board Trustee and event host, Ed McNamee added, “In an environment that is relaxing, yet informative, guests attending this event learn about this wonderful organization, HABcore, which does such incredible work helping those less fortunate in our area.”
