Linda Craft & Team, REALTORS® Create “Shred-sation” at Annual Shredding Event – Recycle Equivalent of 70 Trees

Raleigh, NC, July 08, 2012 --(PR.com)-- Linda Craft & Team, REALTORS® could have papered the town with all of the shredded documents from Saturday’s annual Shred Event. Over four tons of papers were torn to pieces in the process.

“It’s a really fun, free community event which grows and grows every year,” said Broker-in-Charge Katherin Burnette. “This year, we tallied 8240 pounds of paper, the equivalent of 70 grown trees.”

Participants enjoyed live music with a DJ during the event and played along with the "guess the poundage" contest. The closest to the mark was shredder Barbara Curran, who earned a $50 gift certificate to Bonefish Grill, with locations Triangle-area locations in Cary and Raleigh. The prize was announced on the Linda Craft & Team, REALTORS® fan page on Facebook.
