World Record Attempt: a New Poem Every Day for a Year at PoemFix.com

Poemfix.com attempts to set a new world record by composing and posting a new poem every day for the next 365 days.

Maricopa, AZ, July 09, 2012 --(PR.com)-- The artist known as PoemFix is attempting to set a new world record: To write a new poem every day for a year. That’s 365 days with a fresh new poem composed and posted every morning.

Can he do it?

"Poetry isn't easy," says PoemFix. "True, poems can often be short. But the deceptive length places a premium on communication."

The first poem was posted on June 27, 2012.

It's often been said that art can't be rushed, let alone great art. PoemFix is setting out to challenge that notion. Many poets work for years on a single poem, writing and rewriting them. While PoemFix understands the importance of polish, he also believes that art can blossom in volume.

"I'm doing this as a personal and artistic challenge," says PoemFix.

Topics of PoemFix's prose include love, animals, people and travel. Poems can also be sorted by label.

In addition to his main website at www.poemfix.com, the fresh-every-day poems will be reposted to Facebook and Twitter. Daily twitter feeds can also be obtained via www.poemfix.com.
