Anchor Plastics, Inc. Experiences Highest Sales Month in Its History

Anchor Plastics experiences its highest sales month in the company's history. The company has reached its projected yearly growth within the first six months and expects it to double by the end of the year.

Anchor Plastics experienced its highest volume of sales and production in the company's history in May 2012. With 54% higher sales and production than months prior, the company has taken steps to support this growth. It has hired a new Sales Coordinator and Marketing Intern, and is now in the process of adding to its engineering and production team.

The company closed up 12% over the prior year's sales and projected a 25% growth in 2012. Anchor has passed that growth and is now expecting a 50% increase in the second half. With this increase in sales Anchor is planning to grow its sales staff by 27%. The company is also planning a $300,000 expansion which should take place in the fourth quarter.
