Members of BET Marketing Concepts Held a Charity Kickball Tournament to Raise Money for Charity

Members of the company gathered with friends, family and members of the community to raise money for breast cancer through Susan G. Komen for the Cure.

San Diego, CA, July 12, 2012 --( BET Marketing Concepts, a San Diego based sales and marketing firm, hosted a charity kickball event July 1st. Members of the company gathered with friends, family and members of the community to raise money for breast cancer through Susan G. Komen for the Cure.

BET Marketing Concepts opened its doors this month in San Diego, California. BET Marketing Concepts specializes in direct marketing and customer acquisitions for one of the largest Fortune 500 firms. BET’s unique approach offers clients 100% return on their investment with a focus on personal, one on one interactions with existing and potential account holders. As a result, they claim to provide their clients with long lasting customers and increased brand awareness of their products and services.

Susan G. Komen for the Cure, a non profit organization formerly known as The Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation is one of the most widely known breast cancer organization in the United States. To fulfill a promise she made to her sister, Nancy Goodman Brinker founded the Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation in Komen's memory.

The organization was founded in 1982 and has since invested nearly $2 billion for breast cancer research, health services, education and more. Currently, Susan G. Komen has more than 100,000 volunteers and works in conjunction with a network of 124 affiliates worldwide.

BET Marketing Concepts gathered 40 people to attend the charity kickball tournament. The participants were broken into 2 teams to compete over the game ball.

“I knew before I started the company that I didn’t just want to run a successful business, but that I wanted to get involved in the community as well. That’s why we wanted to start making an impact right away. The event was a success and I am excited to see what we are capable of as we grow,” explains Glenn Baldwin, President at BET Marketing Concepts.

The tournament raised over $400 through the event. The winning team was awarded the game ball.

BET Marketing Concepts says they will continue to participate in community events in the coming months. The team at BET will participate in the San Diego AIDS walk in September with more events to come throughout the year.
