Golden Foodie Awards Announces a Partnership with Casey’s Cupcakes
Casey’s Unveils the Golden Velvet Cupcake July 10 at All Store Locations
Orange County, CA, July 13, 2012 --(PR.com)-- The Golden Foodie Awards is pleased to unveil the “Golden Velvet Cupcake” as the official cupcake of the 2012 event season. The Golden Velvet Cupcake was created by Casey’s Cupcakes and introduces a unique and elegant twist on the classic red velvet cupcake.
The Golden Velvet Cupcake recipe features a moist red velvet cake with light and creamy frosting adorned with a special 24-carat gold dust, glamorous gold glitter and gold covered candy pearls. The cupcake will be available at all Casey’s Cupcakes locations July 10 through September 30, 2012. Casey’s Cupcakes will be hosting a special tasting of the new cupcake at the Golden Foodie Awards Wine and Cheese Social at The District at Tustin Legacy on Sunday, July 15 from 4 to 6 p.m.
Casey Reinhardt founded Casey’s Cupcakes with inspiration from her great-grandmother's homemade cupcakes that she has enjoyed since childhood. The décor for each store is inspired by a classic Parisian café with a glamorous Hollywood twist. Since opening the first location in 2009, Casey's Cupcakes has been recognized by major media sources including the 2011 winner of Food Network’s Cupcake Wars “Walk of Fame”. Reinhardt was delighted that Casey’s Cupcakes was selected to develop the Golden Velvet Cupcake in celebration of the Golden Foodie Awards.
