Spate Magazine Visits 50 Cent at His Private Party in NYC

New york, NY, June 22, 2007 --( Spate Magazine got a chance to catch up with 50 cent at his private party for the opening of his office. Newly renovated and high tech. 50 cent's office boasts a full state of the art recording studio. A gym fit for a king, plasma Tv among other things. Not only was 50 cent in the house dressed with a suit that fit like a glove, LL Cool J dropped in and Marc Ecko. Then you have your G-Unit soldiers Tony Yayo walking and mingling with the very small crowd. The new office was built on the G-Unit clothing grounds. There was also a female DJ that knocked 50 cent songs while the plasma TV's showed footage on 50 on BET 106 and park. Not only was Spate Magazine in the house for this event but you can view pics at

About 50 Cent
Curtis James Jackson III (born July 6, 1975) is an American rapper commonly known by his stage name 50 Cent. He rose to fame following the release of his albums Get Rich or Die Tryin' and The Massacre. 50 Cent achieved multi-platinum success with both albums, selling over twenty million records worldwide.

After the release of his mixtape compilation Guess Who's Back? in 2002, 50 Cent was discovered by rapper Eminem and signed to Interscope Records. With the help of Eminem and Dr. Dre—who produced his first major commercial successes—he became one of the highest selling rap artists in the world. He founded the record label G-Unit Records in 2003, which has signed several successful rappers such as Young Buck, Lloyd Banks, and Tony Yayo and he has engaged in numerous feuds with other rappers including Ja Rule, The Game, and Cam'ron.

50 Cent has also pursued an acting career, appearing in the semi-autobiographical film Get Rich or Die Tryin' in 2005 and the Iraq War film Home of the Brave in 2006. He is planning to release two solo albums by February 2008.
