Nu Flow Develops New High-Temp Chemical Resistant Epoxy


Nu Flow has developed a new high temperature, high chemical resistant epoxy for in-place pipe lining of mechanical systems.

San Diego, CA, July 18, 2012 --(PR.com)-- Nu Flow has developed a new high temperature, high chemical resistant epoxy for pipe lining, five years after others claimed to have invented the lining process that Nu Flow had acquired from American Pipe Lining.

American Pipe Lining, a technology partner with Nu Flow brought the small diameter epoxy pipe lining process to North America in 1980, decades before these companies had entered the pipe lining industry, yet they claimed to have invented the small diameter epoxy pipe lining process.

After many years of success with small diameter pipe rehabilitation, Nu Flow developed this new epoxy to further meet the needs of customers. Nu Flow’s new High-Temp Chemical Resistant epoxy (RN750NP) can reach a maximum temperature of 210 degrees Fahrenheit, is 50% stronger, cures twice as fast and has a greater chemical resistance compared to standard epoxy. However, the new epoxy was not developed for potable drinking lines or European pipe systems.

“Nu Flow is excited to offer the new epoxy to those customers and licensees who require lining of mechanical systems,” said Cameron Manners, CEO of Nu Flow. “We believe it will open the doors to more mechanical companies acquiring our pipe lining technologies.”

The Nu Pipe High-Temp Chemical Resistant epoxy was developed by Nu Flow at their state of the art facility after the demands for heating, cooling and industrial applications grew stronger. These types of applications require a higher temperature rated epoxy and after much research, development and testing it is now available for use by Nu Flow and their licensees.
