WiMAX Forum® Selects Bureau Veritas ADT as First Asian Fixed & Mobile WiMAX Certification Testing Laboratory

Taipei, Taiwan, June 23, 2007 --(PR.com)-- During the WiMAX Member Conference in Madrid on June 19th 2007, the WiMAX Forum® announced that it has selected Bureau Veritas’ Advance Data Technology Corp. (ADT) as the first Asian certification test lab of both fixed and mobile WiMAX certification services. WiMAX is a technology that provides an alternative to cable/DSL for the “last mile” as well as Mobile or personal broadband and is expected to have significant growth rates over the coming years. The WiMAX Forum®, an industry-led and not-for-profit organization, was set-up to ensure compatibility and interoperability of equipment in this blossoming market.
