New Clamping Hand Knobs from Elesa

Clamping Hand Knobs from Elesa for machine tools, jigs, disability aids, instrumentation mounts and positioning of fixtures for removal or re-positioning.

Metheringham, United Kingdom, July 28, 2012 --(PR.com)-- Elesa are delighted to announce the introduction of the new CTL.476 and CTL.476p to their range of clamping hand knobs. While the CTL.476/p are probably more recognizable as a wing knob/wing nut – they compliment the whole Elesa series of lobe knobs, fluted grip knobs and scallop knobs for manual clamping applications.

Typical applications would include use on machine tools, jigs, adjustable equipment such as disability aids, also instrumentation mounts and positioning of fixtures for removal or re-positioning. Their design enables high tightening torque to be used while the elongated hub makes the grip easier.

The CTL.476 (wing nut) and the CTL.476p (wing screw) run from M4 with 20mm head to M10 with 56mm head in glass reinforced polyamide technopolymer. For larger jobs the Elesa VB series three-arm clamping lobe knobs offer the same functionality and many Elesa hand knobs like the VCT series are available as soft grip lobe knobs.
