The steam and convection oven has many cooking modes to offer which include cooking with True Convection, Straight Steam, or Steam and Convection combo. It also features EasyCook, which has 40 different pre-programmed modes to choose from, each for a different type of food being cooked. The oven comes with a chart that matches food with the corresponding cooking mode, so it is simple to choose the necessary mode, and then the oven will set the proper temperature, humidity, and cooking time. Other cooking modes also include reheat and slow cook. There is even a 20-30 minute clean cycle that will loosen any grease so it can be easily wiped off with a towel.

The Thermador Steam and Convection oven has a 1.4 cu. Ft. cavity that can easily accommodate and cook a 14 lb turkey in 90 minutes. Overall, the oven provides higher, restaurant quality results with less effort. This is because the combination of steam and convection leads to faster cooking time and preserves and intensifies flavors. As a result, no seasonings and no oil are necessary which also means healthier cooking. The Thermador Steam and Convection oven comes in black glass with either a masterpiece or pro handle. 24” or 30” installations are possible. For a 30” installation there is a separate 30” trim kit that can be purchased which will match it with the Thermador wall oven.
