Charlotte, NC, August 01, 2012 --(PR.com
)-- Spay Neuter Charlotte is pleased to announce their one year anniversary and the fact that they have already fixed over 3,000 dogs and cats since their opening August 1, 2011.
Spay Neuter Charlotte is a 501(c)(3) non profit, low cost clinic located in the revitalized North Davidson (NODA) area of Charlotte that offers affordable sterilization and wellness services for cats and dogs. The clinic serves animals from the Charlotte area, CMPD Animal Control referrals, local humanitarian groups as well as regional animal transports and rescue organizations. Many of these areas, such as the Catawba Indian Reservation, do not have easily accessible or affordable spay/neuter services nearby.
“We started the clinic to provide a low cost option for spay neuter and wellness services for pet owners who need us, and we now know that we are truly meeting this need,” says Executive Director and Founder, Cary Bernstein.
Spay Neuter Charlotte employs two certified DVMs (Doctor of Veterinary Medicine) and also offers wellness clinics, microchips, vaccines, heartworm testing and affordable treatment of many common ailments such as fleas and ticks.
Spay Neuter Charlotte will celebrate their one year anniversary with bright exterior signage, birthday cake and celebratory treats for their clients and patients during the week of August 6th.
Spay Neuter Charlotte is supported by generous donors, seasonal fundraisers and grants from charities such as PetSmart.
