)-- The Sustainability Steward Series is a collection of sustainability focused multi-media courses to be used as employee training, general interest education, or classroom teaching tools. Each course within the series is comprised of a short video (3-5 minutes), supplementary reading, three question quiz, and a take-home action. GEF Institute is currently offering the first course in the series, What is Sustainability, to the public for free.
The sample course discusses the fundamentals of sustainability, specifically the triple bottom line principle, and how it impacts the world around us. To access the free sample visit http://www.greeneducationfoundation.org/gefi/mod/questionnaire/view.php?id=1859 and login using the user name sustainability and the password freesample. Upon completion you’ll be prompted to complete a brief survey about the course. Those who complete the survey will be entered in a raffle to win discounts from GEF Institute.
There are currently seven courses in the series with new topics being added regularly. Subscribers to the Sustainability Steward Series will access all available courses and any new topics added during the term of their subscription.
