Brentano's Gallery Collection Features Artwork-Inspired Textiles

New fabrics consider subtle details of pattern, color, and construction.

Chicago, IL, August 04, 2012 --(PR.com)-- Brentano’s Gallery collection was a long time in the making. Design Director Iris Wang and her team had been contemplating an artwork-inspired collection for over a decade and knew that fall of 2012 would be the right time to introduce it. Each of Gallery’s 14 textiles are influenced directly by the construction of a piece of art—the form—or the feeling behind it—the content. Every fabric has been considered down to the last detail: fiber content, weave, and how it is colored all speak to the best way to interpret the technical composition or the feeling evoked by a specific artist or work of art.

In a collection inspired by the great artists of the world, it is no surprise that Gallery introduces beautiful textiles such as the minimalist drapery Stella, the ultra-luxurious Tamara, voided-velvet Cloudscape, and the intricate Quinan, each of which will add an artistic touch to any interior.
