Starving Students Movers Develops New Dedicated Mobile Website

Los Angeles, CA, August 04, 2012 --(PR.com)-- Starving Students Movers, one of the largest local moving services in the U.S., announced today that it has launched a dedicated mobile version of the Starving Student Mover’s website. The new website connects customers wherever they may be, with the nation’s most trusted name in local moving services.

The Starving Student’s development team worked closely with Dudamobile, one of the leading mobile platform developers and Google partner to provide an enhanced mobile experience. Website photos were optimized to load quickly for an improved mobile experience. Enlarged menu buttons were designed to be thumb-friendly and allow for easy navigation. A “Click-To-Call” button instantly connects customers to an operator for a free moving quote or they can send a quick email request for a quote.

The emphasis is on an intuitive, quick and convenient mobile browsing experience for the customer. The new design eliminates the need to enlarge tiny, poorly converted desktop menus. It’s no longer necessary to squint to read undersized text or wait for the site to download. The site is intended to be more convenient for the Starving Student customer to be able to get the information they need during the busy time leading up to a move.

The new mobile site boasts a clean look and includes many of the popular features on Starving Student’s full website. The site features everything that a customer needs in order to research and schedule a move. There are checklists, tips, advice and an online store for packing supplies. Customers can now access any of these services with the click of a finger.

According to the Cisco® Visual Networking Index (VNI) Global Mobile Data Traffic Forecast Update, global mobile traffic has more than doubled during the last five consecutive years.

Founded in 1973 by two teenagers fresh out of high school, Starving Students Movers has grown to become one of the largest local and long distance moving companies with 31 locations in 9 states. Starving Students Movers also offer portable storage services nationwide to provide customers with convenient storage solutions.
