Active 20-30 Club of Eugene Hosts Second Annual Putt-Putt Golf Tournament Benefiting Local School Children

Thursday, August 9th 2012 at Putters, 5:00 pm The volunteers of the Active 20-30 Club of Eugene will be hosting their second annual Putt-Putt Golf Tournament next Thursday, August 9th.

Eugene, OR, August 04, 2012 --(PR.com)-- The proceeds from this fun event will benefit 40 underprivileged school aged children, as Club members will be supplying backpacks, school supplies, and $100 worth of clothing to each child at the annual Active 20-30 Children’s Shopping Spree. The Active 20-30 Club of Eugene is working with Womenspace, Candlelighters, and Birth-to-Three as participants in the Children’s Shopping Spree.

Participants in the Putt Putt Tourney will be able to golf 18 holes, enjoy pizza and soda and compete for prizes during the evening for only $15 per person.

The Putt Putt Tourney will be held at Putter’s Family Entertainment Center at 1156 Hwy 99 North. Registration begins at 5pm and the Tourney begins at 5:30pm. Tee times are first come, first served. Putter’s Family Entertainment Center and Strike City Lanes are the premier sponsors for the event. Other local businesses have also generously sponsored holes.

All members of the Active 20-30 Club of Eugene are volunteers between the ages for 20 and 39 performing work to raise money for children's charities for Lane County.
