Eurolot Migrates to IBS’ Reservation Solution iFly Res

Eurolot, a Polish Airline headquartered in Warsaw, has replaced Sutra’s AirKiosk with IBS’ iFly Res solution to manage the passenger reservations of its entire fleet.

Trivandrum, India, August 11, 2012 --(PR.com)-- Eurolot, a Polish Airline headquartered in Warsaw, has replaced Sutra’s AirKiosk with IBS’ iFly Res solution to manage the passenger reservations of its entire fleet. Although Eurolot was initially established as a subsidiary of LOT Polish Airlines, today the airline is looking into transforming its business by selling and operating more flights under Eurolot’s own brand. The airline has started to replace some of its ATR’s with NextGen Bombardier Q400 aircraft to increase capacity and support expansion plans. Eurolot flights are currently distributed by iFly Res to Global Distribution System, Amadeus and in future plans to set up codeshare and interline agreements with partners leveraging proven capabilities of iFly Res. Eurolot will further expand its distribution reach by connecting to Online Travel Agencies like Travelfusion and also plans to introduce passenger reservations through mobile application connecting to iFly Res solution. These changes to Eurolot’s business model and distribution needs are fully supported by IBS’ iFly Res and IBE (Internet Booking Engine) solutions.

The iFly Res solution critically combines the distinct benefits of a new generation airline system with the extensive support of traditional functionality. It is a comprehensive customer sales and services solution, providing internet booking and web check-in facilities as well as opportunities for shopping, pricing, and inventory control to best serve customers at every point in their journey. The solution is set to reduce the cost of operation, increase efficiency and enhance the convenience and ease of travel for the passengers of Eurolot.

“We strongly believe that thanks to the system flexibility and the facility to connect to various distribution channels, iFly Res will help increase Eurolot sales during this period of expansion. We are sure that our passengers will benefit from the enhanced and customer-friendly booking process,” said Mateusz Kokosiński, Eurolot Commercial Manager.

"iFly Res is a new generation Passenger Services System designed to provide business agility for an airline, through its innovative business processes, workflows and rule engines that are in line with the emerging trends in the industry. And IBS is an innovative and responsive technology partner who can facilitate Eurolot’s long-term growth by providing open and flexible systems that easily integrate with other travel service providers thereby enabling Eurolot to offer differentiated value-adding products and services to its guests," said Jude Kishore, Senior Vice President & Head of Airline Travel Services, IBS.
