NPSA Thought Leaders Share Strategies for the Future

Portable storage industry players who missed the Monterey conference can still tap into the knowledge shared at the NPSA 2007 Resale Expo through video productions.

Kansas City, MO, June 28, 2007 --(PR.com)-- As the dust settles on the National Portable Storage Association's (NPSA) 4th biannual Resale Expo in Monterey, Calif., industry leaders are beginning to implement many of the best practices and cutting-edge strategies that were discussed.

Now, members who were not present, as well as portable storage industry players who want to tap into the benefits of the association's educational and business resources, can obtain video of the speaker presentations. This is an unprecedented opportunity to discover knowledge that is not available anywhere else in the convenience of your home or office.

"The Resale Expo is a premier portable storage industry event that gathers the industry's thought leaders for a meeting of the minds," said John Finnessy, CMP, Executive Director of the NPSA, a nonprofit membership association dedicated to the advancement of the portable storage industry.

"This year's conference leveraged our industry's top experts to promote learning, business opportunities, networking and camaraderie with pertinent educational programs," Finnessy continues. "The conference was also a venue for an open exchange of ideas between members, sponsors and guests. Senior management from the 10 largest container leasing companies in the world attended – that's just how important it is."

Indeed, more than 300 professionals from the portable storage industry were in attendance to network, discuss the current state of the industry and forecast what the future may hold. Some of the industry's most knowledgeable leaders, include John Maccarone, President and CEO of the world's largest container lessor, Textainer Container Management, were on hand to share strategies for success. Mike Baldwin, President of ConGlobal, spoke on issues affecting container depots and Tim Britton, Vice President of GE SeaCo spoke on the macroeconomics of container management supply and demand. Of course, China was a key topic for the industry. NPSA members discussed cutting-edge strategies and emerging information about the latest factory production strategies in China and container output for the 2007.

"We are grateful to our sponsors for helping us make this the best Resale Expo yet," says NPSA Operations Manager Joel Rathbone. "There's something here for every stakeholder in the portable storage industry. This event offered many insights that will help forecast for 2007 and beyond. I am thrilled that we are able to make this video available to members and potential new members."
