Winter Park Laser Donates Laser Tattoo Removal to Help Foster Child

Orlando, FL, August 15, 2012 --(PR.com)-- While it is difficult for local children to be adopted it is especially difficult for older children-especially ones with "facial tattoos." When child services came to Winter Park Laser to share the story of a teenage boy who desperately wanted a tattoo on his face removed to increase his chances of being adopted after one adoption already failed; Winter Park Laser & Anti-Aging Center was happy to help by donating their time and services of Laser Tattoo Removal.

Winter Park Laser & Anti-Aging Center has been treating this 16 year old boy still in foster care for the past few months and will give him as many treatments of Laser Tattoo Removal as it takes. The foster child says, “He hopes to achieve his goal of becoming a Probation officer to help other young teens, and thinks that not having these tattoos will help him be a good role model as well as increase his chance for adoption.” There is currently a family considering adoption for him & Winter Park Laser wants to make that happen.

Winter Park Laser & Anti-Aging Center uses a Q-switched Yag Laser to remove all tattoos and all treatments are performed by licensed professional Kathryn Bies PA-C and supervised by Plastic Surgeon James F. Farrell M.D. "We hope that these treatments will help change this young boys life," says Aneta Filardo-owner of Winter Park Laser & Anti-Aging Center.

Winter Park Laser & Anti-Aging Center is located at 1215 W. Fairbanks Ave. Orlando FL 32804. For more information go to or call (407) 601-1185.
