A&O Forklift Adds the XT Model to Its Line of Hummerbee Rough Terrain Articulated Forklifts

A&O Forklift announces the release of the Hummerbee XT beekeeping rough terrain articulated forklift.

Edmore, MI, August 17, 2012 --(PR.com)-- A&O Forklift announced this week that it will be releasing their newest Hummerbee rough terrain articulated forklift model, the XT, this fall and is actively taking preorders now. The first XT is expected to be delivered by November 1, 2012.

A&O Forklift and its Hummerbee line of rough terrain articulated forklifts is well known for supplying dependable, easy-to-use, 4 wheel drive forklifts to beekeepers throughout the world who demand a machine that will get their beehives moved efficiently and safely for pollination, food production, and honey production.

The Hummerbee XT aims to be a more accessible option for the up and coming, growing beekeeper.

“We’re excited to share the Hummerbee XT with the world. There was a demand to develop a lower cost option that was easy to finance and budget friendly. This is an extraordinary opportunity for beekeepers whose bee businesses are now getting to the point where they need the help of a forklift,” said Brian Kulling, President of A&O Forklift. “Beekeepers who were saying, ‘maybe next year’ to buying a Hummerbee, can now buy one today with much less investment.”

The Hummerbee XT is a front wheel drive forklift utilizing high torque output hydraulic wheel motors. This key design point allows the machine to traverse much of the same terrain as the 4 wheel drive Hummerbees, which are currently built with front and rear axles and a transfer case. The XT will cost $9,000 less than a standard Hummerbee Turbo, AOF’s most popular model.
